I have been licensed since 1996. I enjoy many aspects of the hobby. I have served as an officer in the Spout Springs Repeater Association for 7+years. I mobile HF with an ICOM 7100 and a HI-Q antenna, and a Yaesu FTM 400 paired with a Comet CSB790A. The majority of my operating is mobile. I am also the Contact Volunteer Examiner (CVE) for 100% online Amateur Radio Examinations with the W5YI Group. My test team tests hundreds a year! I am always trying to learn something new in radio and keep up with my motto: "If you ain't having fun, ya ain't doing it right!"
